Volunteer

Next to the at-risk child, no one is more important to Youth at Heart's programs and services than our volunteers. Every year volunteers contribute hundreds of hours of service to make a huge difference in the lives of at-risk inner-city youth in our area.

Volunteers are Youth at Heart receive training in communication skills, community resources, legal issues, and other information they may need to know. This means you will have the resources and support of Youth at Heart to capably handle situations as they arise, and know who to contact for additional support when needed.

Immediate Need

• Public Relations Committee Members

• Public Relations Interns – assist with newsletter and brochure development

• Donor Coordinator – assist with database and mailing, fund development

Service Areas

• Speakers Bureau: Volunteers give presentations regarding agency services, philosophy and national statistics.

• Office Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help with the telephone, typing, filing, research, data entry, etc.
