What We Do
Supporting Hopes and Dreams
Like young people everywhere, children living in public housing wake up every day wanting to learn, laugh, and play. While poverty by itself may not shatter their hopes and dreams, it does limit their opportunities to participate in social and recreational opportunities. These opportunities play an important role in the growth and development of every child.
We provide preventative educational after-school and summer programs for inner city youth ages 6-18 living in Tulsas public housing communities and low-income apartment complexes. We also manage the nine recreation centers located in these communities. Our educational, cultural and recreational programs provide an effective alternative to idleness, vandalism, school truancy, drug use and gang-related activities.
We Shape, Support and Encourage Inner City Youth.
