From fishing excursions and sporting events to cultural festivals and summer camp, Youth at Heart provides inner-city youth with an opportunity to learn about life outside their immediate environment and situation. Each Youth at Heart activity is tied to a particular life skills lesson that include leadership, value clarification, crime prevention, career development, community service and team building. Our youth also volunteer at many of the events we attend. Highlights of our activities this year include:
